Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God Hebrew 12:2
Introduction
One successful year has gone by and looking back, we have every reason to thank Jesus Christ, our Lord and our God, for His boundless mercy and grace that we received throughout the past year. It was indeed an eventful year in the history of Holy Trinity Mar Thoma Church. As a parish, as families and as individuals, let us praise our God for his unchanging love, for his constant guidance and for His fatherly protection. It is with great joy and honor, on behalf of the Executive committee, I am presenting our Annual report for the year 2024. As God reminds us through the scripture, we are called out to be His witness. We can only say He is faithful, true to His promises and our refuge in our weakness.
As members of the Holy trinity Marthoma Church Nottingham, it is fitting that we renew our commitment and mission to be fruitful for the kingdom of God and to uphold our moto “lighted to lighten”. The year 2024-25 was indeed a period of growth and progress in the history of HTMTC. Along with our Vicar and Executive Committee, each of our members played their role adequately for the betterment of the parish. This report stands as a reflection of our 2024-25 activities, but is not a whole account of the parish life.
CHURCH
The New Year gift from the Metropolitan of the Malankara Mar Thoma Church in 2024 was the formation of a congregation in Nottingham, named the Nottingham Mar Thoma Congregation. The former Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dr. Isaac Mar Philoxenos Episcopa, took the lead in forming the Nottingham Mar Thoma Congregation — a long-cherished dream of the members residing in the town and those who recently joined the community. We take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who worked diligently towards the formation of the congregation. We also extend our sincere thanks to the superior authorities who took the lead in studying and envisioning this formation for the better nourishment of the Mar Thoma community in Nottingham.
Rev. Reji Easow, a young priest of the Mar Thoma Sabha, has been appointed as the first vicar of the Nottingham Mar Thoma Congregation. Rev. Reji Easow came to the UK for his studies and was residing in London with Kochamma, Mrs. Rashmi Thomas, who currently works at King's College Hospital, London, as a Senior Infection Prevention and Control professional. The Bishop selected and appointed him as the first vicar of the Nottingham Mar Thoma Congregation, marking the beginning of this new journey.
The Nottingham Mar Thoma Congregation belongs to the UK Europe & Africa Diocese and is part of the Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church, with its headquarters in Thiruvalla, Kerala, India.
His Grace, The Most Rev. Dr. Theodosius Mar Thoma Metropolitan, continues to lead us from Poolatheen in Thiruvalla, India. Our church is blessed with dedicated and capable leaders; our Metropolitan, along with other Episcopas, guides us through their various responsibilities.
We acknowledge their invaluable leadership and spiritual guidance, and we continue to pray to God Almighty for their wellbeing and continued ministry. We also remember and pray for all the mission activities carried out by the Mar Thoma Church across the world.
By mid-2024, the General Body of the Nottingham Mar Thoma Congregation decided to elevate the congregation to the church and communicated this to the Diocesan Bishop. Following this, the Synod of the Malankara Mar Thoma Church reviewed the

request and, on 1st September 2024, issued a Kalpana announcing the elevation of the Nottingham Mar Thoma Congregation to Holy Trinity Mar Thoma Church.
This announcement came as a wonderful surprise and a great blessing to all the members of the church and the wider community. It was a historic year for the Nottingham Mar Thoma community, marked by the formation of a church in the town — a significant milestone in our journey."

Purpose Objectives and Mission
PURPOSE
The purpose of the Charity is to advance Christian faith and develop a community rooted in biblical doctrine to lead a Christian life.
OBJECTIVES
The main objectives of the Church are to,

advance the Christian religion in the East Midlands Region
-
provide its members with regular Christian worship services, in accordance with the traditions of the Mar Thoma Syrian Church of Malabar
-
provide pastoral care and organize activities to promote the spiritual life of its members
-
make voluntary contributions for evangelistic and charitable work in the United Kingdom and abroad – especially India.
MISSION
The Mar Thoma Church defines itself as ‘Oriental in origin, Eastern in traditions, Episcopal in nature, Democratic in administration, Catholic in mission, Reformed in faith, Evangelical in outreach work and Ecumenical in vision. Each and every adult member of the Church is considered to be an Evangelist’.
The Church may participate in collaborative programmes with other Churches with which it has communal relationships and also participate in all acceptable ecumenical relationships as a full member of the World Council of Churches (WCC), Churches Together in England (CTE) and Churches Together in Britain and Ireland (CTBI).

Governance
The charity is an unincorporated charity. Holy Trinity Mar Thoma Church is controlled by the Constitution of Mar Thoma Syrian Church of Malabar, which is approved and adapted for use in the United Kingdom by the Sabha through The Diocese of UK Europe & Africa.
Management
Holy Trinity Mar Thoma Church is a Parish of the Mar Thoma Syrian Church of Malabar, which has its head office in Tiruvalla, Kerala, India and reports to the Diocese of UK and Europe in the region.
The Mar Thoma Syrian Church of Malabar is led by Marthoma Metropolitan, His Grace The Most Rev. Dr. Theodosius Mar Thoma Metropolitan who resides at Church Headquarters, Poolatheen, Thiruvalla, Kerala.
Holy Trinity Mar Thoma Church belongs to the UK & Europe Zone, which administers the local governance of the Church in the region. The Diocesan Bishop, Rt Rev PD Dr. Joseph Mar Ivanios Episcopa who resides at UK Bishop House, London supervises the regional administration subject to the approval of the Metropolitan.
Locally, Holy Trinity Mar Thoma Church is managed by its Trustees, also called Executive Committee Members, that are elected by the General Body. Vicar of Church acts as the President of Executive Committee.

Rev. Reji Easow, "We thank Almighty God and our leaders for appointing such a young and dynamic priest to serve the newly formed congregation in the Sabha. His vibrant approach to thinking and executing ideas has been invaluable in guiding us from day one until now.
His exceptional commitment and pastoral care towards the church are truly commendable. Despite his studies requiring him to stay in London, every Friday after college, he would travel by car from London to Nottingham. He dedicated his time to staying with members of the congregation, starting his house visits early Saturday morning. In the evening, he would attend the cottage prayer conducted by the Edavaka Mission. On Sunday mornings, he participated in the Sevika Sangham prayer meeting, followed by the Holy Qurbana in the afternoon, before returning to London late at night after fulfilling all his responsibilities.
All these efforts were made possible with the unwavering moral support of Reshmi Kochamma. Through their combined dedication, we were able to sustain all the regular activities of our church.
We deeply appreciate the outstanding organizational abilities and leadership displayed by Achen as the first vicar of our new parish. We gratefully acknowledge his significant contributions and tireless efforts in the formation and elevation of the Nottingham Mar Thoma Congregation to Holy Trinity Mar Thoma Church."
Edavaka Sangham
The first General Body meeting of the Nottingham Mar Thoma Congregation was held on Sunday, 25th February 2024, following the Holy Qurbana service. Rev. Reji Easow welcomed all the newly formed Edavaka Sangham members and presided over the meeting. Mr. Lesslin K. Regimon was appointed to record the minutes. "The congregation was divided into three different prayer groups based on geographical areas. These three distinct prayer groups are named Immanuel, Bethel, and Carmel.

In the current financial year, the General Body met three times and took the necessary actions which was brought by the Executive Committee in progress with various initiatives for the future growth and benefit of the parish.
The first managing committee decided to support different church organizations financially! By giving each organization, the opportunity to host a program, they not only contribute to the church’s activities but also raise much-needed funds for themselves. It creates a sense of responsibility, teamwork, and engagement within the community. Since this idea has worked well which helps each organization to grow individually and to keep a bond with all the members of the community. It’s great to see that this initiative is not just about fundraising but also about strengthening the bond among members of the community. When different organizations take responsibility for hosting programs, it encourages active participation, teamwork, and a sense of belonging among the members.

General Body & Executive Committee
The General Body and Executive Committee play essential roles in the governance and functioning of the church, ensuring that both spiritual and administrative needs are met.
General Body
It’s great to see that the General Body is actively engaging in the decision-making process and providing a platform for church members to voice their thoughts. Meeting three times in the current financial year shows that the leadership is dedicated to maintaining open communication and ensuring everyone has a say in the church’s direction.
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee handles the day-to-day administration and decision-making, ensuring that the church’s activities align with the overall vision set by the General Body. It’s truly wonderful that the office bearers of Holy Trinity Mar Thoma Church have been so dedicated to laying a strong foundation, especially during the initial year. Their hard work in implementing policies and building the structure for the future will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on the church’s growth and ministry. It’s impressive that the Executive Committee met 8 times this financial year, making key decisions to drive the growth of the church. This shows a high level of engagement and commitment.
Members
A small group of Christian families from Kerala in Nottingham built a strong faith community over the years. Starting with prayer meetings in homes and gradually expanding to a structured Mar Thoma Sunday School, this journey reflects the dedication and unity of the community.
The East Midlands Sunday School program seems to have played a vital role in keeping children connected to their faith and culture, despite the challenges of distance. The growth from 5 families in 2016 to 15 families by 2019 highlights the increasing need for such initiatives and the Sunday school became an official part of the All Saints Mar Thoma Church, Peterborough. It’s amazing to see how the Holy Trinity Marthoma Church has grown and established itself as a faith community. The transition from being a prayer group under All Saints Mar Thoma Church (ASMTC) to a full-fledged church is a significant milestone. That’s a great milestone for Holy Trinity Mar Thoma Church, reaching 206 individuals comprising of 63 families as of 31 March 2025, including 4 students. The presence of university students shows that the church is attracting younger members, which is crucial for its growth and continuity.

Farewell & Best Wishes
This year, we bid a heartfelt farewell to one of our church member Mr. Robin Thomas and family who relocated to Australia. While their physical presence will be missed, we trust that they will continue to be a part of our extended church family in spirit and prayer.
We are grateful for their contributions to our parish and pray that God blesses them abundantly in this new chapter of their lives. May they find joy, peace, and a loving community in their new place.
Relationship with the Diocese and Centre
Holy Trinity Mar Thoma Church remains committed to maintaining a strong and active relationship with the UK Europe and Africa Diocese and the North Centre in UK. Throughout the year, our church has actively participated in diocesan programs, meetings, and initiatives, ensuring that we remain connected to the wider Mar Thoma Church community.
This year, our church’s involvement in Marthoma Meet 2024 and World Sunday School Day was remarkable. Demonstrating our commitment and unity, we arranged bus from the church, ensuring maximum participation and a strong presence at these programs.
These events provided an opportunity for spiritual growth, fellowship, and strengthening our connection with the wider Mar Thoma Church community. We extend our gratitude to all who contributed to making our participation successful.
Moving forward, we remain dedicated to engaging with diocesan programs and contributing to the mission and vision of the Mar Thoma Church.
We have been blessed by the guidance and support of our diocesan leaders, who have provided spiritual direction and administrative assistance. Our church has also contributed to various diocesan projects and mission initiatives, demonstrating our commitment to the broader vision of the Mar Thoma Church.
We look forward to continuing our collaboration with the Diocese and the Centre, growing together in faith and service as part of the larger church body.
Inauguration and First Holy Communion Dedication
A significant event marked the inauguration of the Nottingham Marthoma Congregation, a turning point in our church's history, as well as the spiritual milestones that have shaped our community. The first Holy Communion was a pivotal moment for our congregation.
Our Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dr. PD. Joseph Mar Ivanios Episcopa, during his first visit to the UK, Europe & Africa Diocese graciously dedicated time for the official inauguration on 14th April 2024, which was celebrated with the Holy Qurbana. On this blessed occasion, seven of our Sunday School students, ranging from intermediate to senior level, partook of the body and blood of our savior Jesus Christ for the very first time. "Mr. Kevin Shiju Mathew, Miss Betina Kallamparampil Roji, Miss Deborah Mariam Aneesh, Miss Agnes Sara Moncy, Master. Edwin Kallamparampil Roji, Master. Tevin Laiju, and Master. Rayan Leenas received their first Holy Communion. As a congregation, we pray for these children as they continue to grow and mature in their spiritual journey. We also express our gratitude to our Vicar, Rev. Reji Easow, for leading and preparing the children in detail for their first communion." It was a joyous, blessed, and solemn moment for the participants, their parents, and the rest of the congregation, who were present in large numbers.
Our members gave a very warm welcome to our Episcopa, who was visiting us for the first time and marking his first official appointment after being ordained as a Bishop of the Mar Thoma Sabha. Many priests and other officials from the zone, as well as nearby parishes, attended the official inauguration function. Mr. Jessin Jacob and Mr. Robin Thomas served as the conveners for the event. After the function, a delicious dinner was served to everyone by the families of the first Holy Communicants.

Worship & Spiritual Rejuvenation
Purpose Oriented Activities
This section summarises the main the main activities undertaken by the church during the year 2024-25 to achieve its constitutionally declared purposes that include the spiritual enrichment of its members and participation in attending to the needs of the community during this year.
With the Grace of our Lord Jesus, it has been the privilege of Holy Trinity Mar Thoma Church to serve the Mar Thoma diaspora community in the Nottinghamshire area. We thank God for his immense blessing and pray that he continues to guide us to thrive in his Ministry in the years to come. A report on these activities is summarised as below.
Worship
Holy Qurbana
Throughout the calendar year, the Holy Qurbana services have been well-organized and supported by a dedicated team. In addition to our vicar, we were blessed to have the presence of Rev. John T. Chacko, Rev. Sanoj Babu Mathew and Rev. Thomas George, who visited our parish and celebrated the Holy Qurbana with us. These services were further enriched by the efforts of our lay leaders, Mr. Biju PC and Mr. Bijo Kuruvilla, who assisted the vicar with altar duties. Additionally, many young and adult members of the parish actively contributed to the services, helping to make each Holy Qurbana a meaningful and spiritually enriching experience for all.
These are a great source of fellowship, comfort, and strength to all the members and guest who attend the service. This year we have seen a large number of new arrivals in our area, both people who come for employment and studies, we have been blessed with their presence at our services. Our Vicar, Rev Reji Easow has worked relentlessly in co-ordinating these services, welcoming new arrivals and assisting with their needs.
Great Lent Observance and Passion Week Services
As members of the Mar Thoma Church, Great Lent is a time of intense spiritual renewal, marked by fasting, prayer, and selfreflection. As a parish, we place special emphasis on prayer services, including the evening Lent prayers at parishioners' homes, and encourage the congregation to reflect on their spiritual journey throughout the season of Lent. The 50-day Lent began on 11th February 2024 with the Holy Qurbana. Daily Lent prayers were conducted each evening from 12th February to 27th March 2024 at the residences of our parishioners, led by the parish secretary and the lay leaders.
The church has a strong observance of Holy Week, with key services on Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday. Since Good Friday has the highest attendance, Serving Kanji with Payar, Moru Curry, Achar, and Pappadam after the three services on Good Friday adds a communal and cultural touch to the observance. This simple yet nourishing meal reflects the solemnity of the day while fostering fellowship among the congregation.
Prayer Meetings
Prayer gatherings have a crucial role in promoting spiritual development and a feeling of community. They make it possible for members to join together for camaraderie, prayer, and group reflection on the Bible. Three distinct prayer groups were initially established, but only two of them are currently operating effectively because of a shortage of members in the locations. The Edavaka Mission has two prayer sessions every month, which are led by the president Vicar Rev. Reji Easow
It helps and encourage members to take turns in praying for specific requests. People sign up to pray for certain days or hours, especially for urgent needs or during times of crisis.

Church Activities
Food Fest 2024
Holy Trinity Mar Thoma Church may have a great chance to unite the community, celebrate the diversity of its members, and earn money for Sunday school to hold the inaugural VBS.
By allowing people to contribute foods from their own ethnic origins, it demonstrates the togetherness of various cultures within the church. Additionally, Sunday school students participate in making cakes, cookies, biscuits, and other confections. All of the food stalls were gone in a matter of hours, demonstrating how successful the event was. The Sunday school was given enough money to plan for running the VBS.
Parish Sports 2024
It’s wonderful to see that the Yuvajana Sakyam took the lead in organizing the Parish Sports event, especially as it was the teens' first time hosting such a program. Their efforts clearly paid off, and it must have been a fun and engaging event for everyone involved. The concept of splitting participants into two prayer groups adds a layer of friendly competition while fostering a sense of community.
Congratulations to the Immanuel Prayer Group for winning the Ever-Rolling Trophy this year! It’s great to see local businesses like Pinnacle Solutions Pvt Ltd supporting the church's initiatives. Mr. Alan A Sam & Mrs. Sneha Renji served as the convenors for this event.
Vidhyaramba Dhinam (Education Sunday)
A unique opportunity to recognize and celebrate the value of education in the life of the church community is Vidhyaramba Dhinam, also known as Education Sunday. This day is very important in the Mar Thoma tradition since it highlights how education, both academic and spiritual, shapes people's and the church's future. Just before the new school year begins, on September 1, 2024, Holy Trinity Marthoma Church celebrate Education Day and offer a Holy Communion service. Three students in Kerala who are in need of financial assistance for their tuition fees are supported by the offertory that was collected on that particular day. It is distributed among two students from Thalachira Bethel Marthoma Church, Pathanamthitta, and one from Jerusalem Marthoma Church, Chrupuzha, Kannur.Students give a unique prayer and receive blessings from the Achen. Participants in the program included teachers, parents, and students of all ages, from young children to adults.

Onam Celebration
Onam is a joyous occasion that brings the church community together, celebrating Kerala’s rich cultural heritage while embracing the spirit of unity and thanksgiving. Holy Trinity Mar Thoma Church organized Onam program along with Holy Communion on 07 September 2024 at Mansfeild as a vibrant event filled with traditions, worship, and fellowship.
Begin the celebrations with a Thanksgiving Service, thanking God for His blessings and provision special prayers for unity, prosperity, and the well-being of the church community. During Sermon Achen deliver the message about the values of Love, Sharing and unity. Under the direction and supervision of Seevika Sangam, a magnificent Onam Sadya was organized and served on banana leaves.
Family Outing/Retreat
A Family Outing is a wonderful way to strengthen fellowship, create lasting memories, and provide a refreshing break for church members. It allows families to connect outside the church setting, fostering unity and relaxation in a fun-filled environment. The managing committee made the decision to go to a water theme park close to Stock on Trent on 29 September 2024. Church families may have a thrilling and revitalizing day together by going to a water theme park. Particularly for kids and young people, it's a fantastic chance for relaxation, enjoyment, and camaraderie. Exciting wave pools and water slides for thrill-seekers. For a more laid-back experience, there are kid-friendly splash areas and lazy rivers. Mr. Laiju Varghese & Mr. Binesh Baby served as the convenors for this event.
Family Sunday & Harvest festival
A Family Sunday is a special occasion that brings the church community together to celebrate God’s blessings, and give thanks for the abundance He has provided. It is a time for worship, and thanksgiving, fostering unity among families and members of all ages. A Special prayers for families, thanking God for His provision and blessings is arranged on 27 October 2024. All Saints Marthoma Church vicar Rev. Thomas George, the most senior priest in the Diocese, was the major celebrant for the Holy Communion
After the Holy Communion the managing committee arranged Harvest festival. The Harvest Festival is a time to celebrate God’s provision by bringing together fresh produce, homemade goods, and joyful festivities. A Harvest Auction is conducted, where members bid for donated items, and the proceeds go towards the fund raising for buying a new church. Delicious homemade traditional dishes sold for fundraising.
A heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you for making the Harvest Festival 2024 a grand success! Your prayers, participation, and contributions truly made this event a memorable one.
From the wonderful worship and thanksgiving service to the joyful auction, delicious food it was a day filled with fellowship, gratitude, and blessings.

Carol Rounds
The Carol Rounds were a joyous and heartwarming experience, bringing the message of hope, love, and the birth of Christ to every home we visited. It was truly a time of fellowship, worship, and celebration as we spread the Christmas spirit across our church community. This year the church took 4 days to complete the whole round. Families welcomed the carol team with warmth and enthusiasm. Beautiful Christmas carols and prayers filled each home with blessings. The event strengthened church unity and created wonderful memories. A special thanks to all the organizers, singers, musicians, and volunteers who made the Carol Rounds a success! Your dedication and effort in sharing the joy of Christmas is truly appreciated. The Carol Rounds were a remarkable success, bringing joy and the message of Christ’s birth to every home we visited. One of the most heartwarming aspects was the active participation of Sunday school kids, youths, and university students. Their energy, enthusiasm, and commitment made this year’s carol singing even more special! University students joined in despite their busy schedules, showing their deep bond with the church community. A total of 13,100 pounds were offered at our first Harvest festival auction. Christmas Carol Service: A Night of Joy & Worship!
The Christmas Carol Service at Holy Trinity Mar Thoma Church on 24 December 2024 was a truly blessed and joyful occasion, bringing together our church family to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Beautiful choir performances by our talented choir members, filling the church with melodious carols. Special participation from kids, youth and Edavaka Mission making the event extra special. Bible readings and a powerful Christmas message reminding us of Christ’s love and salvation. Fellowship and refreshments, spreading warmth and joy among all attendees. A huge thank you to our choir, musicians , volunteers, and organizers for making this service such a memorable and meaningful celebration. Parish Convention: A Time of Spiritual Renewal
The Parish Convention at Holy Trinity Mar Thoma Church was a beautiful and spiritually uplifting event that brought together our church community for a time of worship, reflection, and renewal in Christ. The Edavaka Mission hosted the first parish convention. The convention provided an opportunity for all participants to deepen their faith and develop their relationship with God. "Deeping Roots Strengthening Faith" was the convention's principal theme.
The convention began on December 29, 2024, and concluded with the New Year service on December 31, 2024. Our Vicar, Rev. Reji Easow, presided over the convention. The primary speakers were Rev. Abu Cherian (Vicar, Carmel Mar Thoma Church Liverpool, Hull and Lincolnshire Congregation, and Newcastle Prayer Fellowship) and Mr. Aji Pappachen (Member, All Saints Mar Thoma Church, Peterborough). We thank all who participated and contributed to making this convention a blessed and meaningful experience. May the insights and spiritual lessons gained continue to guide us in our daily walk with Christ.
Tributary Organisation of Our Church
Sunday School
HTMTC Sunday School, located in Nottingham, operates under the Mar Thoma Sunday School Samajam for the UK, Europe, and Africa Diocese. As of the date of this report, the school has 76 registered students ranging from Nursery to Young Adults. The teaching staff comprises 12 main teachers, 11 substitute teachers, and 3 standby teachers. Sunday school lessons are conducted regularly on the first Saturday afternoon of each month and on Sundays during the remaining weeks, depending on church availability. The primary venue is Grangewood Methodist Church, Nottingham. Each session begins with two students reading the Kauma, followed by a worship song, Bible reading, offertory, announcements, and a common teaching session. This year, topics focused on liturgy and the meanings of terms found in the worship order book, led by the Head Teacher and supported by other teachers. Occasionally, action songs are also taught by Achen, Kochamma, and the Head Teacher. Sessions conclude with the Lord's Prayer, enabling children to recite it confidently in both English and Malayalam. Following the common session, students and teachers move into their individual classes.
HTMTC SS hosts the Yeshu’s Euphony Choir (YEC), which includes students from grade 5 and above selected through audition. This choir engages in creative expression by singing Christian songs and adapting popular melodies with divine lyrics. Choir practice typically occurs for an hour after Sunday school classes, and choir members represent the school at various church events throughout the year.
HTMTC SS organised the following events for 2024-25: Easter & VBS fund raising, VBS, Revision exams, Annual SS Celebration, Vidhyrambha Dhinam and Talent Competition. HTMTC SS children also participated in the Diocesan Exam, World Sunday School Day and Christmas Carol program. HTMTC SS will continue to strive to proclaim the SS ministry under the Mar Thoma Church. Edavaka Mission
The Edavaka mission is the unit of Mar Thoma Voluntary Evangelists Association, and it works for the spiritual revival of the church. Every member of the church should be a missionary filled with joy and having the assurance of salvation through Jesus Christ. The main focus of Edavaka mission is Bible study, Intercessory prayer, Testimonies, Worship, Visiting the sick and needy people and offering prayers for them. As part of Edavaka mission prayers are held on 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month at 5pm in the houses of church members. We have two prayer groups, Bethel and Immanuel. Total we did 18 cottage prayer and 3 special prayers, in addition to that, Edavaka mission parish convention is being held in the month of December. Each Edavaka mission member actively involved themselves in all the church activities.

Sevika Sangham
Sevika Sangam is a very active organization of our church. The encouragement and guidance from our Achen Rev Reji Easow and Rashmi Kochamma have been the key element to continue all Sevika Sangam activities. Our Sevika Sangam has a powerful chain prayer on1st and 15th of each month. We have Sevika Sangam meeting on 2ne Sunday of every month and it consists of Song, storytelling and character study by savviness. So far, we have conducted 5 Sevika Sangam meetings from June 2024. Our Sevika Sangam members prayerfully participate in Diocesan Chain prayer also.
Eight of our Sevika Sangam members attended annual Sevika Sangam conference on August 24th in Liverpool Carmel Marthoma Church and 5 of the members actively participated in the quiz completion. Our Sevinees performed Margamkali with other Sevinees on the day of Mar Thoma meet 2025. Sevika Sangam Dinam was celebrated on 12.10.2024 and we are blessed with a powerful message from Mrs. Molly Joseph. She is mother of our parishioner named Godly. Sevika Sangam has conducted a Onam celebration and Onam Sadhya as a part of fund raising for Sevika Sangam. Above all, our members are an inevitable part, and they have been proactively maintaining their participation in all other church activities such as Sunday school. Choir
The Holy Trinity Marthoma Choir was established shortly after the parish's formation, with 28 members selected through an selection process. The choir holds regular practice sessions on the first Saturday and third Sunday of each month. Additionally, on the day of Qurbana we have our practice prior to Qurbana.
In May, the choir celebrated Sacred Music Sunday, contributing significantly to the worship service with a special song, "Ningal padiyilenkil kallukal," and an inspiring message from Assistant Choir Master Princy Varghese. The choir also participated in the Diocese's Christmas Carol Service in Birmingham on January 4. And also four members represented Holy Trinity Marthoma Church Nottingham in the diocese choir inauguration ceremony.
The choir's repertoire includes Malayalam songs, as well as English songs aimed at engaging the younger generation and fostering a closer connection to holy Qurbana.

Youth Fellowship (Yuvajana Sakhyam)
Holy Trinity Mar Thoma Youth Fellowship is the youth wing of our parish and is actively involved in church activities and part of North West Center yuvajanasakyam. 26 members registered during the year. Yuvajana Sakhyam meets every 4th Sunday after the service. We were able to conduct the following activities during the reporting year: Program Inauguration, One Day Trip, Barbecue, Sports day, Youth week prayer meetup, Netflix meetup, Membership campaign. Financial Summary for the year 2024-25
For the financial year 2024-25, the total income of the parish amounted to £69,833 while the total expenses stood at £36,938, resulting in a net income of £32,895 . The audited statement of accounts for the reporting year is attached to this report for your reference.
We sincerely express our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Binesh Baby (Trustee – Finance) and Mr. Laiju Varghese (Trustee – Accounts) for their dedication, time, and remarkable service in managing the church’s finances throughout the year.
We also extend our appreciation to our internal auditors, Dr. Joealen Benson and Mrs. Mariamma Abraham or their diligence and commitment in reviewing and verifying the financial statements.

Acknowledgement
As we reflect on the past year, we are grateful for God’s abundant blessings upon Holy Trinity Mar Thoma Church. Our journey has been one of faith, fellowship, and growth, and we take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to those who have guided and supported us.
We extend our sincere thanks to Rt. Rev. Theodosius Mar Thoma Metropolitan, our former Diocesan Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Issac Mar Philoxenos Episcopa, and our current Diocesan Bishop Rt. Rev. PD. Dr. Joseph Mar Ivanious Episcopa for their blessings and guidance throughout the year.
A special word of appreciation goes to Rev. Reji Easow and family for their dynamic leadership. We pray that the Almighty continues to strengthen Reji Achen, Reshmi Kochamma, and Azreil both spiritually and physically as they continue their pastoral care and ministry among us.

A special thanks to all the office bearers, committee members, and volunteers who dedicated their time and efforts to the church’s mission. The establishment of policies and procedures, along with the ongoing work of the Church Development Committee, reflects our commitment to building a strong foundation for the future.

Notes to the Accounts for the year ended 31[st] March 2025
1. Accounting Policies
Accounting convention
The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the Charities Act 2011 and "Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102)" (effective 1 January 2019)
Incoming resources
All incoming resources are included on the Statement of Financial Activities when the charity is legally entitled to the income and the amount can be quantified with reasonable accuracy.
Resources expended
Expenditure is accounted for on an accruals basis and has been classified under headings that aggregate all cost related to the category. Where costs cannot be directly attributed to particular headings they have been allocated to activities on a basis consistent with the use of resources.
Tangible fixed assets
Tangible fixed assets used to carry out the charity’s activities, such as land and buildings, which are not applicable to HTMTC.
Taxation
The charity is exempt from tax on its charitable activities.
Fund accounting
Unrestricted funds can be used in accordance with the charitable objectives at the discretion of the trustees. Restricted funds can only be used for particular restricted purposes within the objects of the charity.
Restrictions arise when specified by the donor or when funds are raised for particular restricted purposes.

Risks and Future Assumptions
The accounts have been prepared on a going concern basis which assumes charitable company will have the ability to continue its operations as a going concern.
