The Trustees present their report and the receipts and payments account for the year ended 31 March 2026. The Harris Foundation is governed by a constitution.
TRUSTEES
The present trustees are shown on page 1. All trustees served throughout the period. There were no appointments or resignations of trustees during the year.
The trustees have read the Charity Commission’s Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance, and have had regard to this when running the charity.
CHARITABLE OBJECTIVES
The object of The Harris Foundation is to provide grants and donations for such charitable purposes, for the public benefit, that are exclusively charitable according to the laws of England and Wales as the trustees may from time to time determine.
ACTIVITY
During the year The Harris Foundation made grants in accordance with its objective.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
Other than interest income no income was expected and none was received. The trustees made grants totalling £16k during the year. After accounting for interest income, The Harris Foundation had cash reserves totalling £147k at the end of the year. Going forward The Harris Foundation will continue to make grants as the Trustees see fit. The Harris Foundation’s funds will continue to be held in bank accounts, the vast majority of which are interest bearing.
