3. Objectives and Activities
The charity’s purposes, as set out in its governing document, are :

To relieve poverty and financial hardship through the provision of essential items, humanitarian aid, education, healthcare projects, and training.

To provide grants to individuals in need or to organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.

In carrying out these purposes, the trustees have had due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit.
Main activities this year
4. Achievements and Performance
This year marked the first year of operations for Project Noor. During this time, the trustees focused on laying the foundations for future growth, including:

Running a cake and toy stall which successfully raised funds for the charity.

Using part of this income to pay a deposit for the development of a website, which will be central to Project Noor’s outreach.

Beginning to understand the needs of our markets and community, as we shape our services for maximum impact.

While this was an early stage of development, trustees are confident that the groundwork laid this year provides a strong platform for growth

6. Plans for Future Periods
In the next year the trustees plan to:

Explore partnerships to extend charitable impact.

Continue refining its understanding of its target community and their needs.
