The objective for this year was to fundraise and acquire grants to install an all-weather path, suitable for the entire community to exercise on socialise and to promote mental health and wellbeing. March **2012** **TAR** 5 ## **Section E Financial review** **Brief statement of the** ## **charity’s policy on reserves** As a group our long-term plan, following the successful installation of the path was to utilise the reserved funds for further development of the field by installing new play equipment for children aged 7 – 14 to promote outdoor play, exercise and social and mental wellbeing. Towards the end of March we received a grant from the National Lottery for £20,000 which was stipulated to be used towards a new swing set and piece of climbing apparatus. Basis of independent My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given examiner's statement by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'true and fair, view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
