**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE IN THE UK WHO STAMMER BY HOLDING COURSES AND PROVIDING ONGOING SUPPORT NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES, WHICH ALLOWS A PERSON WHO STAMMERS TO TALK IN A CALM AND CONTROLLED MANNER. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THECIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.

**Activities:** We work throughout the UK with adults who stammer to allow them to control their speech and say what they want, when they want, in a calm manner. We hold courses and have a support network that enables those who attend our courses to access free ongoing support.
