## **Objectives and activities** 

The charity was set up to; 

Act as a resource for young people up to the age of 18 by providing advice and assistance, organising programmes and activities and manufacturing products as a means of advancing in life. These products and programs will help young people by developing their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals. 

The organisation plans to promote emotional awareness among young people and to provide them with strategies and tools to keep them safe. Its methodology for this is that presenting fun and play sessions in a safe space where young people can relax will enable the young people to absorb the skills more readily and with greater understanding. 

The charity will employ trained mental health professionals to give workshops, run a resource library and create age appropriate games and run projects all for the benefit of the young people. This will have the added benefit of improving carers’ own quality of life as a result of the knowledge they will gain.The techniques they will learn will improve relationships and support the young people in their quest for emotional awareness.

**Achievements and performance** 

This past year has been dedicated to initial infrastructure and set up as well as some fundraising and a slight start on emotional awareness and recreational projects. 

An Art Psychotherapist, Malka Gerber MA, has been commissioned to voluntarily assist and advise with program creation drawing on her expertise and experience. A graphic artist has started creating child friendly characters to use in games and activities. 

A fundraiser has been commissioned to tap into available funding and grants. 

## **Financial review** 

No finances have been raised or spent this initial year. 

**Future plans** 

In the coming year we hope to produce child friendly emotionally informed programs to be held in safe, fun places for young people to gain skills and self-awareness in an informal experiential manner. 

We also hope to launch a resource library that will include information, short handouts and leaflets as well as basic card games for all to use to ensure resilience and safety awareness is built. All this will depend on funds raised.
