Bakers Almshouses Stutton Trustees Statement for 2025 Charity Commission Return 2025 has continuecl to be a challengingtime for the Charity. We have one offive unrts empty due to serious damp issues which have rotted the wooden floor. joists and plates. We have been unsuccessful applying for Grants to undertake this work ano 8 much larger programme of essentl81 work to the exterior, including iepointing. French drains and fainwater management. We have reduced the scope of work to just refurbishing our empty PToperty- Unfortunately, the contr8Ctors refurbishing the property have been difficultto deal wtth and their work is of a poo standard. Our income has reduced tsy a fifth aue to the uninhabttable Almshouse.
