CRAG supports Refugees, asylum-seekers and other displaced people though advice, social activities, training (eg informal language-learning) and the provision of goods and occasionally small grants.
Objects: For The Public Benefit, To Relieve The Needs Of Refugees And Asylum Seekers In The Cumberland District And Europe, Primarily Through:a) Providing Advice, Practical Support Services And Information To Assist Them To Adapt Within A New Community Including Signposting To Other Organisations When Required To Access Further And Wider Support;b) Recreational And Leisure Time Activities Provided In The Interests Of Social Welfare Designed To Improve Their Conditions Of Life;c) Raising Public Awareness Of The Issues Faced By Refugees And Those Seeking Asylum;d) Assisting In The Provision Of Clothing And Other Essential Items.e) In Such Ways As The Trustees May Determine.
