Purpose and Objectives
CP4CT is committed to improving cancer care by promoting research into advanced radiotherapy techniques, particularly proton and ion-beam therapy. These approaches deliver radiation more precisely to tumours, reducing side effects and improving outcomes. Our objectives include:

Main achievements
The first year of the charity has been devoted to developing a communication/advocacy and public engagement programme. This has included developing a website and undertaking work with researchers and stakeholders.
1. Advocacy and Communication

Policy Engagement: CP4CT actively contributes to national cancer policy discussions, including through the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Radiotherapy.

Public Awareness: Delivered targeted communication strategies via Instagram, Facebook, and Linktree , delivered via: LhARA | Instagram, Facebook | Linktree. Ensuring accessible information for patients and stakeholders.

Events: Featured in exhibitions (Great Exhibition Road Festival and visit to Imperial College of President Macron and the UK science minister) to raise awareness of particle therapy’s potential to improve outcomes for cancer patients.
