The new Charity wa5 established on 1st March 2024 and ail assets were transferred to it on 1st Novemkr 2024. On 25th January 2025 the chaTities were merged so the old charity no longer exists. Although a ftw mmlvs left the ban4 It conlinued to recruit new playing members and h8d 53 players registered at the end of 2025 (50 ot the end of 2024). Two concerts were organised jointly with a local charity Age UK Solihull (one in 2024). These concerts provided additional public benefit in fimd taising for an exten￿1 Charity and had audienlxs of 75 each. Three concerts were in Extra Care retirement villages and had audienrxs of between 50 and 100 each. One of the public concerts was a fom)anc¢ by a saxophon¢ quartet Tathezthan a full Sized ban(L There were four outdoor perf0m18n￿ No as pan of wider ¢v¢nts (Ilmington Counlry Show and Droitivich Sail Fair) with audiences of severnl hundre4t and two on t*nds¢and8 such as at Stratford upon Avofy with 4￿j]er￿e3 of 50 in front of the bandthd itself. This was advertised widely and P￿vIded a playiTtg 0&T￿lty for a wider circle of playets and a cha￿e for I￿licIpants to ty out a wider ronge of musi¢. The charity inv￿led in new and replxement equipment olring year. This included a new more ￿rtsble conductor pxlium. Conlact with members wos maintained via batsl ne￿￿ette￿. emai18 and Whatsapp mess88in8. The band has taken up a nonprofit parther offer of a 9 user Microsoft 365 account at zero cost to the band. The band now use5 MS Teams for committee methings and MS SharePoinl for Cloud d￿Ument slorage including ow digitsl sheet m￿lC library. The band r￿rtsJ a deficit of £610 for the year (2024: £ 2.744 Swplw). In 2024. the charity Trcorded an unusually large surplu5 due to exceptional income from the s81¢ of its trniler and an unusually high gift aid claim. The In￿*¢$ are satisfi￿] that this year's deficit is within the nornial yearto year fluctuatio￿8 expethed for n￿l charities. Subscripti0Th8 from members ¢ontribu¢ed £2.68] (2024: £2.650). Rehearsal room hire cost £3.237 (2024: £3.463). Income from ￿rOMI3nceS ts)tslled £2,985 (2024: £3.174) with exp￿1￿$ of £1,472 {2024: £1.138). The charity had a bAlan¢e of £36.639. (2024.. £36.138). This is in xcordance with the charity's resetves ￿licY. SillLY significani amounts of this accumulated balance will be needed in du¢ Course for upgrading and replacing key items of band equipmenL many of which are now quile old. £330 w&s spent on print￿1 music, using up the remaining £271 in the mw8ic fimd establish￿ in 2023 and laking £59 from the general fund. R¢J¢rveJ Polxy The management committee has resolved to hold re8er¥e8 to meet th¢ followin8 commitments: To ensure the chgrity's Continu￿ operation in t¢rnv of regular rehea￿￿S and puformances for a ofone year without income. b) To enable equipmenl and music to be repl￿￿ and up￿aded i)n¢e it h&8 reached the end of its useful life.
