ACCOUNTING POLICIES
Basis of preparing the financial ststements
The finaricial Statements of the charitable cornpany, which is a public benefit entity under FRS 102. have been
prepared in accordance with the Charities SORP IFRS 1021 'Ac¢ounfyng and R8porting by Charilies.. Statement
of Recommendgd Practice applicable lo charities preparing their accounts in aceordance with the Financial
Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Rgpublic of Ireland IFRS 102118ffective 1 January 20191.. Financial
R8portin9 Stand8rd 102 The Financial Reporbng Standard appli¢able in the UK arkd Republic ol Ireland, and the
Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the hisloTi¢al cost ￿nVen￿On.
Income
All income is recognised in the Statement of Financlal ActNities once the charity has gntid9mènt to thè funds. it Is
probable that the income will be received and the amount can be measured reliably.
Expenditure
Liabilities are re¢ognised as expenditure as 800n as there is 8 legol or eonstructlve obllgation comrnitting ihe
charity to that gxpéndilure. il Is probablg that a transfer of 9conomic bènaffts ￿11 be required in settlement and
the amount of the obligation can be measured reliabty. Expenditure is accounted for on an accruals basis and

of resources.
Grants offered sublect to conditlons whieh have not been met at the year end date are noted as a commitment

The charity is exempt from corporation tax on its charita￿e activities.
Fund accountlng
Unrestricted funds can be used in accordance with the charitable objectives al the discretion of the trustees.
Re51ricled funds can only be used for particular restricted purposes within the objects of the charty. Rest[￿￿onS
arise wh*n SFe¢ified by the donor or when funds are raised for particular restrfeted purposes.
