The charity is a newly registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation. During the period the trustees focused on establishing governance arrangements, including adoption of the constitution, trustee roles, banking arrangements, and preparation of grant-making policies. 

The trustees have identified the principal risks as ensuring appropriate due diligence in grant-making and compliance with charity law. These risks will be managed through formal application procedures, trustee review of applications, and ongoing monitoring of awards where appropriate.

The trustees have had regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit and are satisfied that the charity’s objects and planned activities are for the public benefit.
