THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND RELIEF OF POVERTY AND UNEMPLOYMENT OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND IN PARTICULAR YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE OR BUSINESS ADVICE OR CONSULTANCY TO SCHOOLS AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS IN ORDER TO PROVIDE A QUALITY EDUCATION; AND2. THE PROMOTION OF SUCH PURPOSES AS SHALL BE CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES.

**Activities:** The Children's Education Foundation provides funding for schools in the informal settlements in Africa. Interventions include leadership & teacher training, school management software installation, fuel efficient stoves, water tanks, solar & battery solutions, IT & science labs, curriculum material and feeding programmes. After 5 years the schools achieve self-sufficiency & community integration.
