The Vicar of Ponteland sits as an Exryofficio trusiee.
Three nominaled trustees are apFX)inted by the Ponteland Town Council. The Ponteland
Par(Khial Church Council and the NewcaqAle Diocesan F.ducalional Board.

OBJECTIVESANDACTIVITIES
Nature of Governing documenl
The charity advances the further educational needs of the past and present pupils of Richard
Coates School. and the residents of the Parish of Ponieland. being under the age of M'enry-
five years. The Foundation consists enlirely of investments and its activities are limited to
expenditure ol.the income ol- the Foundaiion upon its objeciives.
Fundratsing dis¢lo$ures
The charity is required to report how li deals with fundrdising from the public. The charity
does not use a professi(HMI fundraiser or commercial participaior io raise funds. Any monies
raised direcl frorn the public follows the guideline5 set out by the Charity Commission and
UK law in every. respect. We respect the priiacy and contact Preferences of all public donors.
Public benefit
The trustees have referred to the guidance in the Charity Commission general guidance on
public benefits when reviewing the aims and objectives and in planning future activities. The
charitable objectives are also set out to provide clear and demonstrable public benefils.

The trustees confirni that ihey have complied with the requirements of section 17 of the

Commission for England and Wales.

The Foundation truslees continue lo appropriate recipients for the benefjt of funding.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMARNCE
The foundation is awaiting ihe transfer of assets from anoiher charity before it can carry out
its obJeciiv¢s. This transter was not executed in 2025 due to difticuhies and delays in setting
up a bank accouni for the Foundation.
It is expected thal this transfer will take place in 2026.
