|---|---|---|
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | To date, much of the charity’s efforts have been around developing the strategy and planning. Whilst some progress has been made, it is still in the relatively early stages. An intellectual property sharing and collaboration agreement has been signed between Chak De Foundation and Hardeep Sahota, a high school teacher who has in parallel to his teaching career created a number of bhangra related assets including a book and research on bhangra dance which has generated new insights and innovations. The Foundation believes there is an opportunity to work with Hardeep to digitise and reimagine these assets, and that this would very much be in line with the purposes of the charity. The aim would be to share these new digital assets online and using social media as and when they are produced, at no cost to the public. Social media accounts on Instagram, TikTok and a Facebook page have been created for Chak De Foundation, as well as a website. |
