Treasurers report for the period ending 31st December 2025 for The AGM 18th March 2026
Firstly, I would like to thank all the committee members and some non-members for their continued support and hard work over the past year.
Our accounting period has reverted back to the normal date, the end of calendar year, now that the CIO has been finalised.
We have organised numerous events over the past 14mths and the accounts show a significant rise in funds which makes all the hard work worthwhile.
The opening balance for the period was £11713.25 and the closing balance was £16614.10 giving us a gain of £4900.85.
Although the financial year was 2 months longer than normal, which has obviously brought in extra revenue, we have paid two instalments off our loan from Acre and still managed a good increase in funds.
Our aim for the future is to continue the upgrade to the toilets and kitchen as soon as funds are available to do so.
Lastly, I would like to thank Carol Chown for carrying out an examination of the accounts to verify their accuracy. A copy of the accounts summary will be available on the website if anybody should wish to view them.
