TRUSTEES’ ANNUAL REPORT AND FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

The trust is managed by the three trustees as volunteers. New trustees are recruited from within the Parish of Seathwaite. 

The CIO possesses, by way of an endowment, the income arising from the letting of School House, Seathwaite, Cumbria, LA20 6ED. 

The property remained occupied by the same tenants during the year. 

During the year to 12[th] October 2025 the trustees were unable to identify any grants of funds which would have complied with the objectives of the charity. 

The charity can only fund projects and activities that are exclusively charitable and fall within the following objectives: 

_1)  To promote the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England by providing funds to help restore, conserve, maintain and improve the fabric, furnishings and fittings of Holy Trinity church, Seathwaite;_ 

_2)  The prevention or relief of poverty among persons resident in the town of Seathwaite by making grants of money  or providing or paying for items or services calculated to reduce the financial need of such persons_ _**.**_ 

The charity has no debts and maintains a reserve fund to cover any future repair or maintenance works on the property. 



The trustees have taken the commission’s public benefit guidance into account when making any decision it is relevant to.
