## **1. Objectives and Activities** 

## **Charitable Objectives:** 

The charity’s objectives, as set out in its governing document, are: 

To advance the amateur sport of cricket in Teddington and the surrounding areas and to promote community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the public, in particular but not exclusively by the provision or assistance in the provision of facilities for participation in the sport of cricket (“facilities” meaning land, buildings, equipment and training resources). 

## **Main Activities in the Year:** 

During the period the charity received donations totalling £1,350 (including Gift Aid). All activities are carried out in furtherance of our charitable purposes for the public benefit. 

## **2. Achievements and Performance** 

No activities took place during the period and no grants were made. 

## **3. Financial Review** 

## **Income:** 

Total income for the year was £1,350. **Expenditure:** 

Total expenditure was £44. 

## **Reserves Policy:** 

At period-end, unrestricted reserves stood at £1,056 which held as funds available for grant distribution. The charity has no significant overheads. 

## **4. Structure, Governance and Management** 

The charity is governed by a constitution adopted on 7[th] February 2024 and is run by a board of trustees. Day-to-day operations are managed by volunteers with oversight from trustees. The charity has no paid staff. 

## **Trustees during the year:** 

William Frewen (Chair) John Hamblin (Treasurer) Fergus King Anthony Cooke 

Trustees are recruited based on their skills and commitment to the charity’s aims and receive an induction upon joining. 

## **5. Public Benefit Statement** 

The trustees confirm that they have complied with the duty in section 17 of the Charities Act 2011 to have due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit. All activities undertaken are to further the charity’s aims and provide demonstrable benefit to the community.
