## **Annual Report 2024/25 Vitality Church Bracknell Charity No.1207348** 

The church having been founded in2016 became a Registered Charity in March 2024.  It has continued to have a weekly public meeting on a Sunday at the Forest Park Community Centre.  The average attendance to this meeting has remained stable. 

We have run three Alphas, a course to explain the basics of Christianity, which had people new to the church. 

We continue to have weekly Bible Studies, and fortnightly worship evenings. 

We have continued to run a friendship group at the Community Centre weekly where both Church members and people from the local community are welcome. 

We have run three Community Events during the year.  They were craftbased events where families could make the crafts that we provided. Many from the local community who are not church members attended the events. 

We also held our regular public Carol Service and Easter Services. 

We are planning more community events in the coming year and at least one Alpha. 

The Trustees have met seven times since last March, either on Zoom or in person.  The church and the Trustees suffered a tragedy last summer when Julian Woodgate-Brown when climbing in Snowdonia fell and was killed.  His place on the Trustees was taken by Judith Nottage, who will remain on the Trustees until such time as another person can replace her. 

The Charity is financially stable and can meet its monthly bills but does not currently have the excess that it expected to enable it to employ a trainee on a part time basis.  It does have sufficient reserves that have been built up over the past years. 



In its first year of existence as a charity it has had a number of challenges, but has continued to function and provide the services to the members and community that it always has.
