Stillness Juniors PTA Treasurer’s Report
Looking back on a fun and busy year we raised a total of £29,090.
The PTA, alongside the school, put on a number of events for the children, parents and the community.
Our film nights for the children continues to be a success, including a special Harry Potter themed film and activity evening.
Everyone was in the festive spirit during our Christmas events; Winterfest, buying Christmas Trees and tickets for the Christmas Raffle.
Other fun events during the year included the School Quiz, Cheese and Wine night and the parents also dusted off their football boots and took part in the Stillness parents football tournament.
This year the PTA set themselves a big milestone raising funds to resurface the games court and installing outdoor lighting which was completed during the year. We also supported the school buying lots of books, library seating, Opal resources, art aprons and visualisers. Total purchases during the year were £27,520.
Thank you to all the parents, teachers, children and those of you who attended our events (and spent money) which has resulted in a record year of fundraising which has been put to great use for the benefit of the children at Stillness Juniors.
