gender, sexual orientation. age. race or political,
religious or other opinions by providing
allotment facilities in the interest of soclal
welfare lor recreational leisure time occupation

residents.
The Trustees have continued to provide
allotment facilities for the resldents of
Brentwood and the surroundlng dlstrlcts and
have implemented improvements to the
facilitles offered by the purchase of additional
equipment, the maintenance of the
environment and the extension of comp05ting
faaltties.
The Trustees have kept In mind the
Commission's guidance on publlc benefit and
believe that the activitie5 above have
contributed to the social welfare and improved
lite for the residents.

Achlevements and Perfomiance
SORP Trhrer
The Trustees have ensured that full use of the
available facilities has been achieved and all
plots have been fully let throughout the year. By
ensuring that no plots are left vacant the
ass(Kiation has maximlsed beneflt to the
residents of Brentsvood and the surroundin8
area. Ha￿ng collected the rental and other
income, the Trustees have considered how best
the revenue can be utilised to improve the
facilities and experience for the members. Thi5
year the Trustees have...
Purchased an additional mower and a new
rotavator.
Carried out major repairs to the ac￿5$ and
internal roadways.
Renovated and extended the communal
compost bays.

Cash at the bank at 31/1/26 was £5073 in
unrestricted funds. There are no foreseeable
finanaal risks to the tharity.
Of the £5073, £2625 is held as deposits agalnst
failure to leave a plot in good condition on
termination of tenancy. These ère refundable
deposits if the plot holder terminate5 the
tenancy leamng the plot in good lettable
condition. A further É180 is reserved for
known rent blll not yet received from
Brentwood council.
