Primary activity of the charity in this reporting period has been administration, policy writing, recruiting appropriate trustees, planning and instigating fundraising activities. Statement confirming whether the trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit The trustees confirm that they have had due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit when reviewing the aims and objectives of the Edward Bush Charitable Trust and in planning future activities. Although the charity has been predominantly in its administrative stage, the trustees are satisfied that all activities undertaken during the year establishing governance structures and planning fundraising events have been directed towards furthering the charity’s purposes for the public benefit.
