1. Objectives and Activities

 Charitable Purpose:

• Advance education in the Greater Equatoria region of South Sudan by providing teachers with training, information and supplies required to improve the quality of school teaching in South Sudan, and by assisting school managers/leaders in the development of local education provision.

• Prevent or relief of poverty in the Greater Equatoria region of South Sudan by providing essential items and services to individuals in need.

• Relieve poverty or financial hardship among refugees from South Sudan and their dependants living in the UK by providing support and practical advice.

• Strict observation of the financial management of the funds through dual approval of transactions.

4. Achievements and Impact

• Outcomes:

• Provided financial relief to the following families

   - Matata – following a health emergency
  
   - Loponi - following the death of Mr Loro
  
   - Mollinga -  following the death Jamal
  

• Organised engaging encounters to support bereaving community members

• Staged a community get-together, helping raise the spirits of the members after numerous reports of bereavements

• Feedback & Evaluation:

  • Collected feedback via word-of-mouth; high satisfaction

  • Overall the community is satisfied with the way in which the executive runs the organization.

5. Future Plans

• Expand the board of trustees to include at least five trustees with at least one female addition

• Publicise membership payments to increase annual income for sustaining activities

• Establish a dedicated task force to oversee the welcoming of new arrivals to the UK– through provision of guidance/mentorship programme.

• Call for elections for a new executive body

6. Compliance and Declaration

We confirm that the charity has complied with statutory obligations including submission of the annual return, accounts, and trustee reports to the Charity Commission, and maintained appropriate financial and governance standards throughout the reporting period.
