2. Structure, Governance and Management
Friends of O'malley Dancers is a foundation cio governed by its Constitution. Alltrustees
are also members ofthe CIO.
The trustees are responsibleforthe overall governance and strategic direction of the
charity.
Newtrustees are recruited by advertisingand voted in bythe current trustees.
The charity has adopted a suite of governance policies including Financial Controls,
Safeguarding, Risk Management. Conflicts ot Interest, Trustee Expenses, Reserves. and
Serious Incident Reporting.

3. Objects and Activities
The Ghariws object Is to advance the education of the pupils at The O'malley School of Dance
by providing and a&sisting in the provision of facilities for education at the sch(x)l in such ways
as the charity bustees think fit
In its first year. the charity's main activity was setting up the necessary infrastructure.
including registeringwith the Charity Commission, opening a bank account and planning
f und raising activities.
The trustees confirm thatthey have had regard to Charity Commission guidance on public
benefit when planning activities.
4. Achievements and Performance
Duringthe reporting period. the charity held its first Ceili night. This is expeGted to be an
annual event and one ofthe largest fund-raisingevents forthe charity.
5. FinanciaL Review
Income and expenditure
Total incomefortheyearwas £635 (no previousyear). Expenditure forthe year was £0 Ino
previous yearl.
The charity recorded a surplus of £635forthe year.
Reserves policy
The trustees aim to hold reserves of a minimum of £1.OOOwhere possible. As this is the
first yearlorthe charity. It is currently in the process of building up these reseNes. At the
year end. free reserves amounted to £635.
6. Risk Management
The trustees have assessed the major risks towhich the charity is exposed and have
implemented proportionate controls to mitigate those risks. A simple risk register is
reviewed at least annually.
7. Trustees, Responsibilities Staternent
The trustees are responsiblefor preparingtheTrustees' Annual Report and the accounts in
accordance with applicable law and regulations.

The trustees are satisfied thatthe charity is a going concern.
