## **General** 

The charitable incorporated organisation was granted this status by the charity commission on 27[th] February 2024. 

The members of the trust have worked throughout 2024 to be in the position to commence the charitable activity of Scarcroft Golf Club CIO. 

This included the members of Scarcroft Golf club Ltd accepting at an Extraordinary General meeting held 17[th] April 2024 the adoption of all rules changes required and agreement to transfer all wholly owned assets of Scarcroft Golf Club Ltd into Scarcroft Golf Club CIO. 

The board of Scarcroft Golf Club Ltd ratified this vote at a board meeting held in July 2024 and The Nominal shareholders of Scarcroft Golf Club Ltd signed an undertaking to agree the transfer of the shares, Assets and liabilities of Scarcroft Golf Ltd to Scarcroft Golf Club CIO. 

The Transfer was delayed due to charges on the property which the clubs bank removed at the end of 2024.The transfer of assets has now been completed and so Scarcroft Golf Club CIO commenced activities from the 1[st] of January 2025. 

Therefore no activity is reported during this reporting period from 27[th] February 2024 to December 31[st] 2024. 

## **Objectives and Activities** 

THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR PLAYING GOLF OR OTHER AMATEUR SPORTS AT SCARCROFT GOLF CLUB 

The board of trustees is committed to delivering the objective of the charity and will work to deliver this objective going forwards.
