**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF CATS AND KITTENS IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION AND, IN PARTICULAR, TO PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN RESCUE HOMES OR OTHER FACILITIES FOR THE RECEPTION, CARE AND TREATMENT OF SUCH ANIMALS AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO ANIMAL WELFARE IN GENERAL.

**Activities:** We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome cats/kittens in the Newcastle and Northumberland area.Cats predominantly come to us through public no longer able to provide for their cats (surrenders), strays handed in to veterinary practices and strays found by the public.We also actively take part in the trap, neuter and release scheme to help manage the feral population in local areas.
