The name of the charity is the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich Church Buildings Management Partnership Trust. It is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, Registered Charity Number 1207143.

The objects of the Charity
The objects of the charity are the advancement of the Christian Gospel and faith within the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich by administering and maintaining churches or ecclesiastical buildings licensed for public worship in accordance with the Christian faith as received by the Church of England and to promote, aid and further the objects, work and business of the Church of England
The trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit, and believe that the activities of the Charity fall within that guidance.
Activities and Achievements
The Charity was registered on 22 February 2024. To date, activity has mainly been establishing the potential scope of activity for a pilot scheme to be established in an urban area of the diocese to promote a collective regular maintenance plan for a number of church buildings, sharing resources to achieve better levels of service and economies of scale.
Financial Review
The charity incurred no income or expenditure in the thirteen months to 31[st] March 2025.
Investments policy
It is the Charity’s policy not to hold investments.

Reserves Policy
A trustee’s policy to hold minimum funds has yet to be agreed, but expenditure will only be approved once grants have been received to fund projects.
