Objects: 3.1 To Promote Social Inclusion For The Public Benefit By Working With People In The Vicinity Of Southend-On-Sea Who Are Socially Excluded On The Grounds Of Their Ethnic Origin, Religion, Belief Or Creed (In Particular, Members Of The Tamil Community) To Relieve The Needs Of Such People And Assist Them To Integrate Into Society, In Particular By:a) Providing A Local Network Group That Encourages And Enables Members Of The Tamil Community To Participate More Effectively With The Wider Community;b) Increasing, Or Co-Ordinating, Opportunities For Members Of The Tamil Community To Engage With Service Providers, To Enable Those Providers To Adapt Services To Better Meet The Needs Of That Community.c) Providing Recreational And Leisure Time Activity In The Interests Of Social Welfare For People Living In The Area Of Benefit Who Have Need By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disability, Poverty Or Social And Economic Circumstances With A View To Improving The Conditions Of Life Of Such Persons.3.2 To Advance The Education Of The Public In Tamil Culture And Heritage, Including Assistance To Children With Homework Support And English Language And Other Associated Educational Needs In Such Ways As The Trustees May Determine.3.3 The Prevention Of Relief Of Poverty In Sri Lanka Primarily By Providing Or Assisting In The Provision Of Education, Training And All The Necessary Support Designed To Enable Individuals To Generate A Sustainable Income And Be Self-Sufficient.
