charity trustees shall retire from office. If the
number of elected tharity tiustee5 is not three
or a multiple of three, then the number
nearest to one-third shall retire from office,
but if there is only one charity trustee, he or
she shall retire-

of the CIO shall retire in accordance with the
provisions of subclauses lal and Ibl of this
clause. A person so appOI￿ted by the eharity
trustees shall retire at the conclusion of the
annual general meeting ne)rt following the
date of his appointment, and shall not be

counted for the purpose of determintng which
of the charity trusrees 15 to retire by rotation at
that meeting.

131 Nominated Charity Trustee
(a) Milton Keynes Service 1.the appolnting

{b) Any appointment must be made at a
meeting held according to the ordinary
practice of the appointing body.
(c) Each appointment must be for a term of 3
years.
(d) The appointment will be effective from the
later of:
lil the date of the vatancy.. or
lii)the date on which the CIO 15 infom)ed of
the appointment.
{e) The person appointed need not be a
member of the appointing body.

Fanfare Mikon Keynes was started by a
group of trustees who are parents of
ehildren who have beneflted from the
activities provided by the Milton Keynes
Music Service. We have always worked
closely with the Music Service and are
planning lo appoint a member of this
anisats'on as a trustee.
