**Objects:** TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN THE SUBJECT OF EAST ASIAN ARCHAEOLOGY, IN PARTICULAR THE ARCHAEOLOGY OF MAINLAND CHINA, THE ISLAND OF TAIWAN, JAPAN, KOREA, MONGOLIA AND EASTERN SIBERIA, BY CARRYING OUT STUDY AND RESEARCH AND THE PUBLICATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.

**Activities:** SEAA promotes and stimulates worldwide interest and research in the archaeology of East Asia. For this purpose, SEAA holds triannual members conferences, circulates information via regular newsletters and social media posts, and organizes workshops and other opportunities for inter-regional scholarly exchange and communication.
