inclusive and fun, where anyone over the
age of 5 can access quality training,
awards and competitions
The Club also provides access to the Duke
of Edinburgh Award, Search and Rescue
training, Surf Boat, IRB.
Lifeguard patrols ran over the Summer at
Saunton beach, giving our younger
lifeguards a taste of what lifeguarding
involved. We also helped with finding three
lost children, provided water safety
information, minor first aid and carried out
two out of hours rescues.
_One rescue was performed by a 14 year old_
_club member who spent 30 minutes keeping_
_someone afloat before the RNLI arrived to_
_rescue them._|
**Financial Review**

Loss of £6500 – the loss was due to repairs on
the building and purchase of new equipment for
the club members to use – including ski’s and
fins.
Despite a small calculated loss the club is in a

**Report to the trustees/ Saunton Sands Surf Life Saving Club members of 31 December 2025 7084 On accounts for the year ended Charity no 120(if any) Set out on pages charity ("the Trust") for the year ended 31/12/2025 I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above Responsibilities and As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the basis of report accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ("the Act"). I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. Independent I have completed my examination.
