|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|Saunton Sands SLSC prides itself on being<br>inclusive and fun, where anyone over the<br>age of 5 can access quality training,<br>awards and competitions<br>The Club also provides access to the Duke<br>of Edinburgh Award, Search and Rescue<br>training, Surf Boat, IRB.<br>Lifeguard patrols ran over the Summer at<br>Saunton beach, giving our younger<br>lifeguards a taste of what lifeguarding<br>involved. We also helped with finding three<br>lost children, provided water safety<br>information, minor first aid and carried out<br>two out of hours rescues.<br>_One rescue was performed by a 14 year old_<br>_club member who spent 30 minutes keeping_<br>_someone afloat before the RNLI arrived to_<br>_rescue them._|

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
