A Surf Life saving club, teaching a wide variety of people of all ages lifesaving skills, water safety and environmental awareness, first aid training and skills using craft in the water safely - local coastal protection and educational courses and practical skills from all ages that range between 5 yrs - 80 yrs. Providing voluntary beach patrols during summer season in absence of RNLI Lifeguards
Objects: The Objects For Which The Club Is Established Is To Save Lives And Prevent Drowning And To Provide Education And Training In All Areas Relating To Lifesaving, Rescue, Resuscitation And Search And Rescue For The Benefit Of The Public In The Ceremonial County Of Devon And Other Parts Of Britain By:?the Promotion And Training Of Surf Lifesaving And Other Qualifications In Water Safety, Rescue, Search And Rescue, Lifesaving, Coaching, Resuscitation And First Aid;?the Promotion And Organisation Of Lifesaving, Rescue, Search And Rescue, Beach, Sea And Pool Training, Beach And Water Sports And Lifesaving Activities For Training, Recreation And Enjoyment That Encourage Fitness, Team Work, Responsibility And Excellence In Pursuit Of These Objects;?engaging In Search And Rescue Activities;?the Promotion Of And The Provision Of Voluntary Lifesaving, Rescue, Search And Rescue Services And Training To The Community And Public At Large;?the Provision Of Lifesaving Safety Awareness And Prevention Of Drowning Information:?the Promotion Of The Club And Its Activities Within The Local Community.
