Trustees Annual Report:
The Number Eight Foundation is a family-run charity established in memory of George Casey. Following an overwhelming response of support and generosity through a JustGiving fundraising campaign, George's family created the charity to continue his legacy and make a positive impact in the community.
The charity is managed by George's parents, Angela and Gary Casey, together with his brother, Charles Casey, and sister, Chloe Casey, who serve as trustees.
The Foundation's aim is to organise enjoyable community fundraising events, including quiz nights, football tournaments, golf days, and other social activities. Through these events, the charity raises funds to support causes that were significant to George and his family.
Funds raised are donated to organisations including the London Air Ambulance, hospital critical care units, and the RoadPeace charity, helping to provide vital support to those affected by serious road incidents and medical emergencies.
The Number Eight Foundation is committed to expanding its fundraising activities and hosting further events throughout the coming year, with the goal of increasing awareness and support for these important causes.
