## **Achievements and Performance** 

|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|We focus on improving through education<br>for children in our care. The children we<br>provide Welsh education for is based in<br>Porth which is deemed as a deprived area.<br>We offer a wide range of experiences<br>through the medium of Welsh for children<br>and supporting those who are non-Welsh<br>speaking. By giving these children, the<br>advantage of learning a second language,<br>will greatly increase their chances of<br>employment into adulthood.<br>Providing education in Welsh in pre-school<br>years is the most effective method of<br>introduction.<br>We work alongside local authorities to<br>provide training for staff to uphold<br>standards required by CIW, ESTYN and<br>NMS to provide a quality provision,<br>enabling us to provide early intervention in<br>place for individual children. With qualified<br>staff, we can identify areas of needs<br>through observations, assessments and<br>planning activities which supports<br>children’s progress, with additional<br>individual support for targeted children who<br>are referred to us by local authorities.|
