## **1. Objectives and Activities**
The charity was established to facilitate the running of a small community centre for the benefit of the local Muslim community. Our main objectives are:
- To provide a place for communal worship and gatherings.
- To support religious, educational, and social activities that strengthen community ties.
During the year, the charity’s main activities were:
- Weekly Jumu’ah prayers.
- Ramadan activities, including iftar gatherings.
- Facilitation of community congregations where simple activities are provided.
- Management of rental and logistical arrangements with estate management for use of the centre.
- Occasional community meet-ups and events.
## **2. Public Benefit**
The trustees confirm they have had regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit. The charity’s activities are open to the local community and provide opportunities for spiritual growth, social support, and community cohesion.
## **3. Financial Review**
- The charity received total income of approximately **£6,240** during the financial year, primarily from community donations averaging around **£120 per week** . This represented a significant increase in income compared with the previous financial year.
- Total expenditure for the year was approximately **£2,200** , relating primarily to the operational, logistical and rental costs associated with running the community centre and facilitating the charity’s activities.
- At the end of the financial year (25/10/2025), the charity held a closing cash balance of **£4,040 as cash in hand** . At that time, the trustees were in the process of opening a dedicated bank account in the charity’s name.
- **Post-year-end event:** In January 2026, following the opening of the charity’s bank account, the trustees deposited the charity’s accumulated cash funds into the dedicated charity bank account.
- The trustees continue to oversee the charity’s finances and seek to ensure that funds are used appropriately in furtherance of the charity’s objectives.

The charity is managed by its trustees, who oversee all activities and ensure compliance with charity law. The trustees meet as required to make decisions about the operation of the centre and community activities.
