Overview of Activities During the reporting period from February 2024 to March 2025, Al-Firdous Trust delivered humanitarian relief, faith-based welfare, and community development programmes across Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Greece, The Gambia, and the United Kingdom. The charity focused on supporting vulnerable families, refugees, widows, orphans, prisoners, and low-income communities through food security, education, water access, Qurbani, Ramadan relief, prison outreach, and community infrastructure projects.

Community & Faith Infrastructure The Gambia- Sareh Pateh Village: A community mosque was renovated to restore it as a safe and functional place of worship. Works included tiling, plastering, painting, structural repairs, and minaret repairs. The mosque benefits approximately 300 people daily from the local community and travellers. Nigeria- Community Mosque (2025): In 2025, Al-Firdous supported the construction of a community mosque in Nigeria. The mosque was built to serve the whole community for Ramadan and year-round use, benefiting local residents as a place of worship, learning, and community gathering. The masjid serves a small local community. The wider area has an estimated population of approximately 8,000-10,000 people, while the immediate area surrounding the masjid has a lower population density. Based on this, the Trustees estimate that the masjid regularly serves approximately 500 individuals, with higher attendance during Jumu'ah prayers, Ramadan, and key community events. Iiiiiiitsi

UNITED KINGDOM LEICESTER COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES Due to the absence of a permanent community space during the reporting period, Al-Firdous delivered limited but impactful local activities in Leicester. Community Classes: These classes were delivered on a regular basis using temporary venues. Arabic classes Sewing classes English as a Second Language (ESL) classes Form filling l applications Knitting classes Tajweed / Tafseer classes Keep Fit Between February 2024 and March 2025, a total of 30 students benefited from these learning programmes, with regular attendance and ongoing skills development. Fundraising: A Ramadan Bazaar was organised to raise funds to support the charity's programmes.

PRISON OUTREACH LEICESTERSHIRE PRISONS: Al-Firdous delivered Ramadan and Eid prison gift packs to both male and female prisoners in Leicestershire prisons in 2024 and 2025. 2024: Approximately 200 prison gift packs distributed 2025: Approximately 250 Ramadan prison packs distributed

Each prison pack was prepared with Care and Dignity. These initiatives supported the spiritual and emotional wellbeing of prisoners during and Eid.

GEOGRAPHIC REACH BENEFICIARY SUMMARY USE OF FUNDS Funds were used for food distribution, Qurbani, water wells, mosque renovation and construction, community classes, prison outreach, and local logistics.
