Annual Report for Don’t Walk in the Dark.

Charity Reference number 1207002

April 24 – 31 March 25

Don’t Walk in the Dark is a UK charity with the Bible at its core. It asks the simple question “are you reading the Bible?”

We seek any and every opportunity to raise up the Word of God and encourage and support others to place it firmly in the centre of their daily lives. It seeks to address the decline in Bible focussed daily quiet time – Bible mediation and make Bible study accessible.

It has become increasingly aware of the quiet revival and an increase in Bible sales UK wide. We are seeking to understand this curve and respond appropriately and effectively.

This year saw our first trip to the Christian Resources Exhibition. This trip has been a vital focal point of the year. A chance to meet with Christians and church leaders and gauge feedback, with energies invested in the preparations for it and the reviewing of our performance.

We have spent much time this year producing, printing and establishing a resource library which will be vital in the events anticipated in the year ahead.

We have also travelled to and presented at various youth meetings in England and Wales and sought to meet with local youth organisations to offer Bible based resources and short courses tailored to their requirements.

We are intending to develop a modern website to enable an increase of email updates and information with resources into a wider European market.

We have begun developing a training course to aid outreach and DWITD activity.

The trustees continue to govern the charity’s progress and tone, the details of which can be found on-online.
