The Trustees of The Shadhili Foundation present their annual report and unaudited accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024 and confirm they comply with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011, the trust deed and the Charities SORP (FRS 102).
Review of Activities and Achievements
This year marked the first year of activity for the Shadhili Foundation. The initial funds reflect the positive response from individuals who were keen to support the organisation’s aims and objectives.
The Foundation has been established to promote personal and community wellbeing through educational initiatives, with a particular focus on encouraging individuals to strengthen their sense of connection, identity, and values as Muslims and contribute positively to society.
The early support received has provided a strong foundation for the charity’s future work, and the organisation looks forward to developing its activities further in the coming year.
Financial Review
Cash at bank at 31[st] December 2024 was £6,145.91 of unrestricted funds. There are no financial risks to the Charity as there are no operational costs for the charity at this stage.
Our main source of funds this year has been online donations via bank transfer. We use general funds and gift aid donations to help with the low running costs of the Charity.
