achievements ofthe charity
during the year
The chatty r￿1Ved £2000 funds from Answer Cancer to raise Can￿r
awareness in the ￿mMunIty. Four successful events were organised
targeting NHS can￿r screening programmes for breast, bowel and
cemcal cancer. We also induded prostate cancer talks.
The events were highly SUc￿SfUl. and the attendees changed their
approach to seeksng the reSoU￿S for earty diagnosis and treatment.
No of indi%iduals induding committee members got training for cancer
awareness to become ￿n￿r champions.
The health ch8ck conducted Identif￿ unkn(Y4vn kndney problems, blood
pressure, diabetes and high cholester￿. The ￿rforManCe feedback was
oveNthelmingly excellent for all the events. We are now requested to
cary out more such events.
