Selby CoderDojo provides a space for young people to learn coding and digital making in an informal and social environment. Our young people learn technologies, including Scratch, physical computing & web development, and we focus on people skills like creativity, problem-solving, communication and teamwork. Our activities are always free to attend.
Objects: To Advance In Life And Help Children And Young People Aged 7-17 Through:a) Providing A Volunteer Led Coding Club That Provides Informal Opportunities For Engagement And Interest In Exploring Coding, Digital Making And Stem Topics And Projects Designed To Improve Their Conditions Of Life;b) Providing Opportunities To Develop Key Skills In Communication, Collaboration And Problem Solving To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Mature And Responsible Individuals.
