## **1. Objectives and Activities of the Charity** 

The primary objective of **Encounter With God Ministries London** is the advancement of the Christian faith for the public benefit, in accordance with our Statement of Faith. This is achieved through holding religious services and prayer meetings, providing Christian education, engaging in outreach and evangelism, and offering pastoral care in the local community. 

## **Our key activities include:** 

- Weekly Sunday services held from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm at **Hayes & Harlington Community Association** Meeting Room No. 1, Albert Road, Hayes, Middlesex, UB3 4HR. 

- Midweek Bible studies to nurture spiritual growth and scriptural understanding. 

- Monthly fasting and prayer meetings, weekly Tuesday and Friday 6AM morning devotion for spiritual strengthening. 

- Evangelism and outreach in local areas, including literature distribution and event participation. 

- Organising foundation classes to establish new believers in the Christian faith. 

- Hosting social events to build community and welcome newcomers. 

- Developing Musical Instrument’s, other necessary skills for the interested members. 

- 

All activities are open to the public and are intended to bring spiritual, emotional, and relational benefit to individuals and families in our community.

## **2. Summary of the charity's main activities and achievements** 

## **Achievements and Performance – Activities During 2025** 

During the year 2025, Encounter With God Ministries London made significant progress in fulfilling its charitable purposes through a variety of evangelistic, pastoral, and community-based initiatives: 

1. **Scripture Distribution** : 

   - a. We distributed **250 Discover Magazines for children** , helping them learn Bible stories in an engaging and age-appropriate format. 

   - b. We distributed **350 Explore Magazines** around **Hayes Community Centre** , offering Bible-based content to the wider public. 

   - c. We distributed approximately **250 New Testaments** and **10 Full Bibles** in the **Hayes community** . 

   - d. At **Brunel University** , we hosted a stall and distributed around **350 New Testaments** , engaging with students and university staff. 

   - e. At the **Hayes Canal Festival** , we distributed: 

      - i. 300 New Testaments 

      - ii. 100 Discover Magazines 

   - f. We also presented a **Full Bible to the Mayor of Uxbridge** , as a gesture of honour and spiritual encouragement. 

   - g. In **June 2025** , we placed **Hospital Bibles** on patient lockers at **Hillingdon Hospital** , making the Word of God available to those in recovery or distress. 

   - h. We distributed **Hope Magazines** in **elderly care homes in Hayes** , providing encouragement, hope, and spiritual upliftment to the elderly. 

2. **Believer’s Foundation Classes** : We organised **12 foundation classes** to ground church members in the essentials of the Christian faith and to help them grow in maturity. 

3. **We Baptised 6 believers** on 17th May 2025. 

4. **Monthly Fasting and Prayer Meetings** : These gatherings, held once every month, fostered a deeper spiritual life and corporate intercession within the church. 

5. **Weekly Bible Studies** : Held every **Wednesday** , these sessions strengthened believers’ understanding of Scripture and promoted spiritual growth. 

6. **Sunday Services and Fellowship** : Our **weekly Sunday service** (10:30 am to 1:00 pm) remains central to our ministry. Refreshments and fellowship time afterward foster stronger relationships among members.

## 7. **Church Social Events** : 

   - a) We hosted **barbeques** during the year, creating a relaxed environment for members and newcomers to connect and build community. 

   - b) Big Church Festival: The church facilitates and encourages our young people to attend the Big Church Festival, providing them with opportunities to participate in vibrant Christian worship, hear inspiring testimonies, connect with other young believers, and grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ. 

   - c) Social and Sports Activities: We also organise social and recreational activities, including badminton and other sports, to promote fellowship, healthy relationships, teamwork, and a stronger sense of community among our young people and church families. 

   - d) Through these initiatives and the financial support provided where needed, the church seeks to engage and encourage children and young people, create meaningful opportunities for fellowship, and help them come to know and grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 

8. **Pastoral Visits and Support** : Upon invitation, we **visited the homes of church members** to provide spiritual encouragement, pray with families, and offer support for practical or emotional needs. These visits reflect our commitment to pastoral care and fellowship. 

## **3. Financial Review** 

For the financial period from 1[st] **November 2024 to 31[st] October 2025** , the church received total **income of £ 10,099** . Total **expenditure during the same period amounted to £ 8,587** covering venue rental, ministry materials, outreach activities, and hospitality costs. 

## As of **October 2025** , the **remaining bank balance** stood at **£ 2,940** . 

The trustees are committed to ensuring that all income is stewarded carefully in line with the ministry's charitable objectives and to maintain financial transparency. 

## **4. Structure, Governance and Management** 

Encounter With God Ministries London is overseen by a team of trustees who are responsible for strategic direction, safeguarding compliance, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the ministry. We operate in accordance with our governing document and uphold the values stated in our Statement of Faith.

## **5. Public Benefit Statement** 

The Trustees confirm that they have complied with the duty in section 4 of the Charities Act 2011 to have due regard to public benefit guidance published by the Charity Commission. 

All our activities, including worship, education, outreach, and community events, are provided free of charge and open to the general public, ensuring wide access and spiritual benefit for all who engage with the ministry.

## **Reserves Policy** 

The charity aims to hold a minimum of £1000 (which is approximately 2 months of expenditure) as unrestricted amount, so that the charity could continue to operate should income and / or expenditure vary adversely.  At the year end, the charity held unrestricted amount of **£2,940.00** at Bank.

## **Accounting Policies** 

The accounts have been prepared on a receipts and payments basis and comprise a statement that shows the charity's receipts and payments, a statement that summarises the charity's assets and liabilities and related notes.  The accountancy profession have determined that only accounts prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards present a 'true and fair' view and, as these receipts and payments accounts have not (and cannot) be prepared in accordance with accounting standards, these accounts do not present (and are not intended to present) a 'true and fair' view of the charity's financial activities and state of affairs. 

General funds are unrestricted funds which are available for use at the discretion of the trustees in furtherance of the general objectives of the charity.  Designated funds comprise unrestricted funds that have been set aside by the trustees for particular purposes.  Restricted funds are donations which are to be used in accordance with specific restrictions imposed by donors; they include donations received from appeals for specific activities or projects.
