On behalf of the entire team at Kashmir Welfare Foundation, I want to personally extend my deepest thanks to all of you for your unwavering support throughout this year. As many of you know, the first year for any charity can be **incredibly challenging** , but thanks to your generosity and the tireless efforts of our team on the ground, we’ve been able to overcome these challenges and **successfully complete our projects** with the care and attention they deserve.
From the outset, our mission has been clear: **to reach those most in need** , regardless of the obstacles. Alhamdulilah, I can proudly say that our dedicated team has ventured into areas facing **rough terrains, treacherous paths, and even freezing temperatures** to reach those that would otherwise never get help.
These are regions that require immense resilience and determination, but thanks to your donations and trust in our work, we’ve been able to deliver lifesaving aid where it is needed most.

## Muzaffarabad City
**Mar 24**
**Masjid Haramain Sharifain & Eid Gah**
We embarked on our project with the words "Bismillah," approaching our mission with clean hearts and pure intentions, all aimed at realising our goals and vision for a brighter Kashmir.
## Dadyal Jamia Masjid
**Feb 24**
With your generous support, we provided meals for over 300 people at Dadyal’s Jamia Masjid, situated just off the main Bazaar. We opened our doors to those in need and extended additional temporary assistance, including food packs.
## Khadimabad Village
## **Mar 24**
Thanks to the blessings of Ramadan and the generosity of our dedicated donors, we successfully provided over 900 Iftars in Khadimabad throughout the holy month.
## Patikka, Muzaffarabad
## **Mar 24**
We traveled to Patikka Village, a remote area north of Muzaffarabad, to provide Iftar meals for over 350 impoverished residents. For many this was the first time they had consumed meat this year.
Iftar was served to over 400 people at Muzaffarabad's largest Jamia Masjid, built by the Saudi Royals after the 2005 earthquake, the effects of which are still deeply felt in Kashmir today.
Panjgran, Muzaffarabad **Mar 24**
Iftar was served to around 300 people in a remote mountainous region, located an hour north of Muzaffarabad. This area is widely recognised as one of the most impoverished in the region.
## Narakot, Charhoi
## **Apr 24**
On the 29th of Ramadan, we distributed over 400 Iftar meals at the Jamia Masjid in Charhoi. Amongst the attendees were a large population of those who escaped over the border from Jammu & Kashmir in the 90s.
## Kotli Eid Gifts
## **Apr 24**
We distributed Eid gifts to over 900 children, aged 6 to 10, across four schools in Kotli District, bringing joy and smiles to the students during the festive season.
## Ramadan Impacts
During the blessed month of Ramadan, your generous support enabled us to provide **hot Iftar meals to over 250 people each day** . Our Iftar meals project focused on reaching the poorest and most vulnerable in society. We traveled to the hardest-toreach areas, deep in the valleys and high up on mountain tops, to ensure that food reached those most in need.
Poverty is widespread in many parts of Kashmir, largely due to the scarcity of jobs and income sources, leaving many families **struggling to make ends meet** . Thanks to your donations, we were able to bring relief and nourishment to those who need it most.
Additionally, our monthly ration packs designed to sustain a family of six for an entire month, providing essential ingredients like **spices, flour, rice, lentils, and butter or ghee,** ensuring they can prepare nutritious meals.
However, our vision extends beyond providing short-term relief. We believe no family should remain dependent on donations. That's why we are committed to long-term solutions. This Ramadan alone, we’ve supported over **20 people in starting their own businesses** , empowering them to break free from the cycle of poverty and secure a stable future.
## Achievement In Numbers
During Ramadan, we were able to provide an incredible 15,000
Iftar meals, offering nourishing dishes such as Chicken or Lamb Rice, Chicken Curry, Rotis, and refreshing drinks like water, juice, or sherbet. In addition to this, 500 monthly ration packs were distributed, each one sufficient to feed a family of six. We also hosted a special Eid party at Kotli School, where over 500 children were gifted with games, books, stationery, and other study aids to support their education and bring joy to their celebration.

## **June 24**
Over 50 Qurbanis were performed in Dadyal, Kotli, Muzaffarabad, and Neelum Valley, distributing over 25,000kg of meat to those in greatest need. Additionally, Qurbanis were conducted at Faisalabad's Orphan SOS, extending our reach further.
## Dadyal & Mirpur
**June 24**
350 monthly ration packs were distributed in Chakswari, Dadyal, and Mirpur City. These packs provide a lifeline to struggling families, ensuring access to essential items and nutritious meals during difficult times.
## Muzaffarabad City
## **July 24**
Over 100 trees were planted at the Eid Gah behind the Markazi Jamia Masjid Harimain Sharifain. Two trees were also planted at the entrance to the courtyard to welcome visitors.
## Tehra, Muzaffarabad
## **July 24**
In Tehra Village, we organised a medical camp and food distribution initiative that benefited over 500 people. The remote location of Tehra meant that many residents were unable to travel to nearby towns for medical treatment due to the high costs. This initiative brought essential healthcare services directly to the village.

Sarar, Muzaffarabad **July 24**
We provided monthly food packs in Sarar to hundreds of families. Each pack was designed to feed a family of six, providing vital staples such as rice, flour, lentils, and cooking essentials.
## Dogiyah, Muzaffarabad
## **Aug 24**
Medical treatment was provided to over 320 people at our medical camps in Dogiyan. Food was also provided to all participants. The local community welcomed this project wholeheartedly.
## Tehjian, Neelum Valley
## **Aug 24**
We collaborated with the Pakistan Army medical team to deliver vital medical care to those in need in Tehjian, a village located along the line of control and frequently targeted during conflicts. Over 430 individuals received treatment here.
## Kutton Jagran, Neelum
## **Aug 24**
Near Baboon Valley, Kutton Jagran presented one of the most challenging routes we've navigated to establish our medical camps. Here, we successfully provided treatment to over 350 individuals in need.

## Arja, District Bagh
**Aug 24**
Medical camps were organised in Arja, offering international standard medications to the residents of Bagh district. This initiative treated over 400 patients and providing hot meals to more than 500 individuals through our feeding project.
## Khadimabad, Dadyal
**Aug 24**
Khadimabad Safe Zone project was designed to reduce crime and increase safety for children in this area. It includes adding CCTV to public buildings, road safety signs and tree plantation project. Phase 1 is currently in progress.
## Khairi Bala, Dadyal
## **Sept 24**
Ambulances previously took over 30 minutes to reach patients. Our service now guarantees quicker response times and delivers critical support to the community during emergencies, ensuring that those in urgent need receive timely medical assistance.
## Samlotha, Dadyal
## **Oct 24**
We constructed a new home for a family of five, featuring three spacious rooms, a kitchen, and a washroom. This family had resided in the region for over 25 years but were unable to build a proper home due to low-paying jobs and financial constraints.

Bright Minds Academy **Neelum Valley Hospital**
Many areas in Azad Kashmir remain without adequate schools or educational facilities, leaving children without access to the learning opportunities they deserve. We have identified four key locations where we aim to start building schools, bringing education to those who need it most.
We believe that education is the most powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty, and we are committed to long-term, sustainable projects that will create lasting change. Neelum Valley urgently requires a wellequipped hospital to manage medical emergencies and provide specialized gynecology care. For too long, the region has suffered from inadequate healthcare, leaving residents vulnerable during critical times.
Alhamdulilah, our team has begun the essential work of establishing a 12-bed hospital in the area. This facility will serve as a vital resource for the community, offering essential medical services and improving access to much-needed healthcare. With your support, we aim to create a lasting impact on the health and well-being of Neelum Valley.

Azad Kashmir urgently needs a mobile hospital capable of navigating its rugged terrain and steep mountain inclines. This cutting-edge mobile unit will be fully equipped with X-ray machines, ultrasound scanners, a blood test lab, and other vital medical tools, delivering essential healthcare services directly to remote communities.
With your support, we can provide life-saving care to those who lack access to traditional hospitals. Together, we can ensure that critical medical services reach the most isolated and vulnerable areas, improving health and saving lives across Azad Kashmir. This unit will also contain a pharmacy.
