I report to the Iruslees on my examination ol the accounts of Bodhigyan Meditation & Cultural Centre UK {Ihe Trust)
for the period ended 31 December 2024.
Responsibilities and Basis of Report
As the chaiily Iruslees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation ol the 8¢¢0unls in accordance with the
requirements of the Charities Act 2011 1 the Acl'l.
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out undei section 145 of the 2011 Act and in
carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Chaiily Commission under
section 14515)Ibl of the Act.
Independent Examlner's Statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material mallers have come lo my attention in connection with
the examination giving me caLJse lo believe that in any material respect..
accounting rgcords were nol kept in respect of the Tiusl as required by section 130 of the Act,. or
2. the accounts do not accord with those records,. or
3. the accounts do not comply with the applicable requirements con¢erning the form and contents of accounts

Bodhigyan Meditation & Cultural Centre UK Is a charitable Incorporated organisalion registered with the Charity
Commission. registered ¢harity number 1206806. The Principal address is 99 Bellerton Road. Rainham. RM13
8ND.
2. Accounting Policies
2.1. Basis of Preparation of Financial Statements
The financial slalemenls have been prepared in accordan￿ with the Charities SORP {FRS 1021'Accounling
and Reporting by Charities." Slalemenl ol Recommended Piaclice applicable lo charities preparing their
accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporiing Standard appli¢able in the UK and Republic of Iieland
IFRS 1021 (effective 1 January 20191" Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard
applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" and the Charities Act 2011.
The charity is a Public Benefit Enlily as defined by FRS 102.
2.2. Fund Accounting
Unreslrt¢led funds Can be used in accordance wtih the Charitable objectives al the discretion of the Iruslees.
Designated funds comprise unreslri¢ted funds that have been sel aside by the Iruslees for a specific
purpose.
Reslricled funds are lo be used for specific purposes as laid down by the donor.
Further explanation of the nature and purpose of each fund is included in the notes lo the financial
slalemenls.
2.3. Incoming Resources
All income is recognised in the Slalemenl ol Financial Activities once the charity has enlillement lo the funds,
it is probable that the income will be received and the amount Can be measured reliably
2.4. Cash and Cash Equlvalents
Cash and cash equivalents are basi¢ financial assets and include cash in hand and deposits held al call with
banks, other short-lerm highly liquid investments that mature in no more than three months from the dale of
acquisition and are readily convertible lo a known amount of cash with insignificant risk of change in value,
and bank overdrafts.
