Ghana Society UK organises the Luton Baako Festival - Unity As One, cultural event every summer. The event brings together diverse communities in Luton and beyond, to celebrate their unique traditional and momentous occasions with pomp and style.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:1. The Relief Of Poverty Within The UK And Africa, In Particular But Not Exclusively In Luton Bedfordshire And Its Surrounding Areas, By Providing And Assisting In The Provision Of Education, Training, Healthcare Services And All Necessary Support That Will Enable Individuals To Be Self-Sufficient Including Material Assistance And Vocational/skills And Holding Seminars, Workshops And Conferences;2. The Advancement Of African Art, Culture And Heritage For The Public Benefit By Educating The Public Of African Historical Traditions And By Preserving And Displaying African Artefacts, Organizing African Festivals And Carnivals For The Dissemination Of Historical Information; And3. The Relief And Assistance Of People In Any Part Of The World Who Are The Victims Of War Or Natural Disaster, Trouble, Or Catastrophe In Particular By Supplying Them With Medical Aid, Water, Sanitary Materials And The Provision Of Such Other Items As The Trustees Deem Appropriate, Such As Clothing And Food.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With [Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005] And [Section 2 Of The Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008]
