**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO BENEFIT THE RESIDENTS OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF GENDER, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY PROVIDING ALLOTMENT GARDENS IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATIONAL LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE LIVES OF ALL RESIDENTS.NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE.

**Activities:** We provide over 3 acres of leisure gardening opportunities to benefit health and social welfare by growing crops and tending an environmentally unique area of land in  the middle of a city conurbation.
