## **Kenton Parish Lands CIO** 

**Treasurers Report and Annual Accounts 1[st] October 2024 to 30[th] September 2025** 

In December 2023 the Kenton Parish Lands Trust and in January2024 Kenton Parish Lands CIO were registered with the Charity Commission. 

At the start of the annual accounting period the bank account held £10. This was a £10 donation necessary for setting up the Bank account the previous year. Before the establishment of the Trust the rent for the property had been paid directly into the All Saints Church PCC account. 

During this financial year the builders handed the building back to the Ivy Educational Trust (IET) after the repairs to the building, damaged by the flood, were completed. IET then became liable for rent, which is due, in advance, quarterly on the 25[th] of the month March, July, September and December. 

The CIO resolved to allow the income to accrue to build up funds because the IET has indicated its intention to activate the break clause in the lease and the CIO will need funds to manage the future of the charity.  Therefore, no donations to the PCC for the maintenance of the church building have been made this year. 

KPLCIO received two payments amounting to £3854.03 from IET.

Two quarters rent were overdue as of 30[th] September (£3409.00). 

(The overdue rent was paid into the account on 19[th] November.)
