Prior to 2023 the trustees became aware that the original Trust documentation had been lost. A search of the local historical archives found the original Trust Deed from 1766. In 2023 this was incorporated into a new constitution adopted by the Trustees Judith Johnson and Rev. John Williams. Subsequently, Rev John Williams retired and resigned as a trustee and Michael Hocking was recruited as the second trustee.
The Trust owns the site and buildings of the Kenton Primary School and leases them to the Ivy Education Trust. In September 2023 the school was flooded and rendered unusable. The contract states that in these circumstances rent is not due while repairs are completed, which took the whole year. During the reporting period there was no income and no expenditure.
