**Objects:** TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE PUBLIC, IN SUCH WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT, OF SEDIMENTOLOGY AND STRATIGRAPHY AND THEIR ASSOCIATED DISCIPLINES AND TO PROMOTE RESEARCH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN ALL ASPECTS OF THAT SUBJECT AND TO PUBLISH THE USEFUL RESULTS.

**Activities:** BSRG holds an annual meeting where members, particularly post graduates, are encouraged to share current research and learnings.BSRG provides financial support in the form of grants to young sedimentologists and stratigraphers for the purposes of conference attendance and field work. BSRG encourages outreach to the broader earth science community.
