REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES AND UNAUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS for the year ended 31st August 2024 and 2024-2025 reporting year up to June 30[th] , 2025

The Trustees for the reporting period were, Dr Roger Slack (Chair), Mr Ken Walze, Miss Barbara Lord and Mr Kevin Wiltshire.

Object

The advancement of Christian education and Christian religion in accordance with the statement of faith of the Trust

Aims

  1. Primarily to support and encourage existing independent Christian schools; for them to lay and maintain a foundation of biblical truth in education and to flourish and become established within the educational provision in the UK to the glory of God.

  2. To facilitate the formation of new independent Christian schools of quality by providing guidance, support and information, mainly but not exclusively within the UK.

  3. To enable member schools to successfully meet current government requirements.

  4. Through its training and conferences, to equip and empower Christians from the UK, Europe and other national contexts to teach from the biblical worldview, in the light of God’s word, in the power of the Holy Spirit and for the sake of God’s Kingdom.

  5. To develop and share insights on all aspects of curriculum and school management in line with the biblical worldview (as defined in policy documents).

  6. To promote research both school and university-based, relating to Christianity and education; equipping the school communities to interpret, challenge and creatively develop culture.

  7. To promote a variety of publications associated with the activities of the Trust for the

benefit of all organisations sharing CST aims, including UK churches and home educators in addition to Christian schools.

  1. To share information that will facilitate the development of Christian education in the UK, Europe and worldwide.

Activities and Achievements

There has been no activity by the charity since registration.

This is due to delays in transferring assets from The Christian Schools Trust. Charity Registration Number: 293315. This process is now being handled by Edward Connor Solicitors 10 The Point, Market Harborough, LE16 7QU.

Trustees anticipate that the trust will be active in the next 12 months. The objects, aims and publicly beneficial activities of the CIO will show continuity with The Christian Schools Trust charity number 293315.
