- a) To provide social, economic, and other support to actively develop and promote the welfare and well-being of primarily the Pakistani or British Pakistani community of Rochdale and other communities who might benefit from such support in furtherance of creating a sustainable harmonious society.

b) To support those facing hardship and barriers to education, skills, employment, health, housing, and other social and economic challenges. c) To prioritise support for young people, the elderly and women and those men facing multiple barriers to progress 

- d) To promote good relations between different groups of people regardless of race, religion, gender, and ability and ensure equality of opportunity 

- e) To celebrate and promote our unique Pakistani and British Pakistani Heritage including successes 

- f) To provide a forum for issues pertaining to the community relevant to the challenges they face 

- g) To act as a representative body to engage with the Pakistani High Commission and other bodies such as central government, local government, NHS, Police, and other agencies to improve communications, foster greater understanding and improvement in services 

- h) To manage and develop our community centre to enable and facilitate the afore-mentioned activities 

The trustees are delighted to report that throughout the year they have continued to establish the organisation and linking with local organisations and communities. This includes the local authority, Police, local NHS trust and other community organisations. Two major events were also organised to celebrate Pakistan Independence days. 

The trustees were also involved in partnership working  on critical issues affecting the local communities.
